Serendipity Open house/Game Day
Serendipity will be hosting an open house and game day on January 1st, 2007. We will be having board games, some video games, movies and other forms of entertainment going on throughout the day. We are providing a ham and other assorted goodies during the day. People are welcome to show up anywhere from noon till probably around 10pm. Everyone who knows us is invited, if you have any questions on whether you are invited please feel free to call or reply to this post. Feel free to bring your favorite board game, video game, or movie, and any food you want to contribute. We are looking forward to having a fun day with all of the friends who can make it out.

--Serendipity

P.S. For any Sluggy fans out there, the new Sluggy card game, "Get Nifty", will be available

P.P.S. We will probably even have a couple of rounds of UT2004, though I have been told I will risk death and dismemberment if I spend the Whole day in the basement :-)

P.P.P.S. We also have the new mega-monopoly and super scrabble, both having bigger and better boards for the board gaming fans

Hope yall can make it.

Meme
I liked the test, but you should have been able to pick multiple valid answers. It only picked your tendancies, not your abilities. Also, I think the third line of the advice is totally wrong. If not, I'm in trouble.

Your brain: 0% interpersonal, 100% visual, 80% verbal, and 220% mathematical!
Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.

Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:

  1. Don't date someone if your interpersonal percentages differ by more than 80%.
  2. Don't be friends with someone if your verbal percentages differ by more than 100%.
  3. Don't have sex with someone if their math percentage is over 200%.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 0% on interpersonal

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 42% on visual

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 51% on verbal

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 89% on mathematical

I'm curious to see others results so here are mine...

The Five Love Languages

My primary love language is probably
Physical Touch
with a secondary love language being
Quality Time.

Complete set of results

Physical Touch: 12
Quality Time: 8
Acts of Service: 7
Words of Affirmation: 3
Receiving Gifts: 0

Information

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.

I have now gotten super master legitamitely, but this one was me trying to hack it. I still can't get into the top 2 percent. Someone named pheogal also seems to be hacking the game, but he is taking the top 10-20 levels in each game rather than just taking a single win and stopping. Very annoying.

and now for another test :)

Results from Chakra test

Root Sacral Navel Heart Throat Third Eye Crown

Root: open (69%)
Sacral: open (63%)
Navel: over-active (75%)
Heart: open (63%)
Throat: over-active (81%)
Third Eye: open (44%)
Crown: open (69%)

Overall, your scores are quite high. This might indicate that all of your chakras are open. However, it might actually indicate that you were answering the questions too affirmatively.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled insanity.

New Beginnings.....
Well,

I thought I would start my first entry by taking one of the tests that seem to be so popular on live journals. I noticed on my wife's site that she had taken one that I was curious about. I play in an RPG on Sundays, and yesterdays game was based off of the 7 deadly sins, and what did I see...

Which of the 7 deadly sins are you....

and of course anyone who knows me...

lust
Lust -- 'Nuff said.

Which of the Seven Deadly Sins Are You?

considering my favorite number is 426913...that should make sense.

Anyway, it seems like an appropriate note to start a new beggining with, and so with that...I begin a new dance.

:)
